What are Microgreens ?

Microgreens are nutrition dense baby vegetables, herbs or fruit plants generally 35 days old or less.

They are between 5 to 60% more nutritious (depending on varieties) compared to the fully grown adult vegetable you would usually harvest and eat from your garden.


What is "Micro-farming" ?

"Micro-farming" means a small scale vertical farm.



How long does it take to grow ?

Depending on varieties it can take between 10 and 35 days to grow Microgreens.
For that reason it requires significantly low energy or watering to grow those powerful crops.

How to eat Microgreens ?

You can sprinkle microgreens to any dish. No cooking needed. You can eat them raw just like that. (unlike sprouts which you have to cook).

What is used to grow them ?


You cannot leave the container near a source of heat like in the microwave, in the sun, in the car or on the kitchen counter right beside your oven or it will melt. The good side is that you can put it in the trash without feeling guilty because it will be disintegrated within few months which is awesome for the environment.
